Rhys Ifans will star in a new version of Charles Dickens' classic story, A Christmas Carol, at the Old Vic.

Notting Hill star Ifans, who played the Fool in King Lear at the London theatre last year, returns in November for the production adapted by Jack Thorne and directed by Matthew Warchus.
